As you can see, I made myself a new header for myself this spring. I had passed a beautiful tree downtown yesterday and had to get back down there this morning with my camera to take pictures of it. Unfortunately after 10 photos, my camera battery was dead, so that was the end of my fun for the moment.
To make my header, I upload my photos into Lightroom, and tweak them a little. Then I upload them onto flickr. Then I use flickrtoys to make a 3x1 mosaic. Then you have to upload your photo into the blogger customize section, add your title and colors, and whammo...new header. Not too hard, but not too simple either. Hope you enjoy it though! You have to LOVE flowering trees...one day I want one.

Beautiful!!!!!
Beautiful.
First I thought you were talking about "Heather". It's how she's known for the first three years of her nieces' and nephews' lives.
I totally adore the photo. And I also love flowering trees.
Awesome! ! definitely has the feel of spring down pat!
I love it - I want to make one!!
Hey, several months ago, I got my blog to be a *bit* wider, but not as wide as yours. How did you do that? I wish I was more HTML literate...
Melissa, my blog setting is Minima stretch (just in the "Pick your template" section). I didn't do anything fancy to get it this wide other than that.
And Bri...yes, this could have been referring to "auntie Hedder!" but the kids in my house who say her name don't have that accent anymore!! :(
So pretty, I love trees covered in blossoms! When I was at my grandma's funeral in White Rock in February, her magnolia tree was already blooming! My sad looking Alberta tree - at the end of April - is trying it's hardest to come out!
